Points & rewards

You earn points for activities that meaningfully contribute to the HandlPay product and ecosystem. The available activities appear in the Rewards tab on your dashboard once you connect a Canton Network address.Each round lasts 7 days. Points reset at midnight UTC when the round ends. Reward distribution starts the following afternoon (UTC). Your percentage share of the total points pool becomes your percentage share of the CCrewardpoolforthatepoch.TheCC reward pool for that epoch. The CC pool value is determined once the round completes.You must hold the minimum $HANDL balance on Canton Network to earn points and receive rewards.
There are four common reasons referral points are not credited:
  1. The person you referred has not yet signed up and entered your reward claim code.
  2. The person you referred already entered a different reward claim code before yours.
  3. You did not have a Canton wallet address attached at the time your referral code was entered.
  4. You did not hold enough $HANDL at the time your referral code was entered — check the minimum balance requirements.
There are four common reasons payment points are not credited:
  1. The payment was sent directly to your wallet address, not via the HandlPay app.
  2. You do not have a Canton address attached to your account.
  3. You did not hold the minimum $HANDL balance at the time the payment was processed.
  4. Not enough block confirmations have been recorded yet — it takes approximately 20 minutes for points to be credited after the payment status changes from Pending to Delivered.
Every round ends at midnight UTC and distribution starts the following afternoon UTC. HandlPay posts a distribution announcement on Telegram when it begins — check there first.Your address may be excluded from distribution if any of the following apply:
  • Obvious non-human activity was detected on your account.
  • Your connected Canton address requires a memo (e.g. a CEX deposit address).
  • Your $HANDL balance dropped below the minimum after the round ended and before distribution was prepared. Do not swap back to USDC before the distribution announcement.
  • Auto-accept is not enabled in your Canton wallet.
If you believe you should have received a reward and did not, email support@handlpay.com with: your User ID, your Polygon address, and proof that you held the minimum balance between the end of the round and the distribution announcement. Missing information will delay the response.
Yes. You can change your connected Canton wallet address at any time during a round. Rewards are sent to the wallet connected to your account when the round ends and distribution is being prepared — which is also when the system checks your $HANDL balance.
There is no set maximum. The general rule is to behave like a human — genuine users do not receive hundreds of payments in a single day. HandlPay is not a gaming app. Accounts perceived as farming the rewards program will be suspended. If you are concerned about your funds, consider attaching a self-custodial wallet such as MetaMask.

Account

If your account is flagged for suspicious activity, email support@handlpay.com. Your account will be unblocked within 24 hours or more. If your account is flagged again, the unblock time increases. You will retain access to your funds when the suspension lifts.
Your points remain intact after a suspension and will count toward the distribution for that round. If your account is blacklisted, you will be excluded from the next distribution.

Payments

Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
  1. Check Polygonscan to confirm the transaction went to the correct wallet and has at least 200 block confirmations.
  2. If your balance still does not reflect correctly, try the following:
    • Click the three dots next to USDC and select Disconnect.
    • Then select Restore default wallet.
If neither step resolves the issue, email support@handlpay.com with your social media name or email used to sign up and your transaction hash.
There are two ways to bridge $HANDL depending on where your tokens are held.Option 1: From within the HandlPay app
Option 2: From an external wallet (e.g. MetaMask)
When you receive a new asset on Canton Network for the first time, you must manually approve it before it becomes available.
  • HandlPay wallet: A red indicator appears next to the asset (e.g. HANDL). Click it to approve. You can also enable auto-approval for future transfers.
  • External wallets (Zoro, Console, CantonLoop, etc.): Approval flows vary by provider. Follow the instructions from your wallet provider.

Setup

You can create a Canton wallet directly inside the HandlPay app using an invite code. Alternatively, you can sign up with any of the existing Canton ecosystem wallets:
HandlPay Canton wallets are self-custodial and use passkeys (biometrics) to protect your private keys. Some environments do not support passkey creation:
  • Telegram on desktop: The Telegram mini app on desktop does not support passkeys. Create your wallet using Telegram on mobile instead.
  • WhatsApp and Instagram on iOS: These apps use an in-app browser from Meta that does not allow passkey creation on iOS. Tap the settings button in the in-app browser and choose Open in browser to continue in a native browser.
HandlPay distinguishes between two wallet types on Canton Network:
  • HandlPay wallet — created inside the HandlPay app with an invite code. You can send and receive funds directly in the app.
  • External wallet — created with a third-party app (e.g. Bron, Loop, Console). You can receive payments via your social handle, but must use the original wallet app to send funds.
If the app cannot find your private key on the current device, it treats the wallet as external and hides the Send, History, and Key Export buttons. This happens when you:
  • Created the wallet in incognito or private browsing mode.
  • Switched browser or device.
  • Cleared browser data.
  • Deleted and reinstalled Telegram.
  • Never imported your private key on this device.
To restore full access, import your private key into the app on your current device. The buttons will reappear automatically once the private key is detected.
HandlPay is fully self-custodial and does not store your private key. Always export and securely store your private key immediately after creating your wallet.
You can connect an exchange deposit address only if it does not require a memo. $CC distributions are rejected if your Canton address requires a memo to receive transactions, which is common with CEX deposit addresses.
Your User ID is embedded in your payment link:
  1. Click the payment link button underneath your profile picture.
  2. Your User ID is the string that follows the last / in the URL.
